What energises you at work?
Being able to learn about the reef, out there with my Dad and knowing what the corals are.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about your job?
That we are destroying the reef or taking what shouldn’t be taken, but it is a tightly controlled sustainable industry.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Fishing or trying to get out on the boat if the weather is good
Favourite coral and why?
I like goni’s a lot, and also acans because of the colours but probably pulsating xenia, would love to have a big ball of that in a tank!
What do you love about your job?
Get to stare at coral all the time, a lot of people don’t ever get to see coral and I get to see it everyday – amazing!
