What energises you at work?
Starting the day with a nice play list, good conversations, and feeding the fish, specially “Pepito”, the most friendly Tang fish in Darwin 😄

What’s the biggest misconception people have about your job?
People think I spend most of the day feeding and playing with fish, and watching coral grow

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Easy, Fishing 😁, if the weather allows, otherwise exploring new places for a camp or prospect, or taking the dogs for a walk with my partner.

Favourite coral and why?
Zoanthids, mostly from WA,  are my top pick. They have the most vibrant, radiant and unique colours and patterns I’ve ever seen.

What do you love about the job?
I love all marine life, so being surrounded by it is quite special. Plus, discovering something I have never seen or heard of before makes the thrill of it stay alive!
