What energises you at work?
I am always energised at work from the great teammates, lovely environment and the waterfront view teeming with dolphins.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about your job?
The biggest misconception about my job is how complicated it can get when looking after a mass variety of corals and animals, with different types of requirements for every species, it sometimes get simplified but with a little bit of explanation people will understand more and appreciate what we do and produce.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
On weekends I like to relax, spend time with my indoor jungle, my marine tank, practice cello, also a big gamer.
Favourite coral and why?
My favourite corals are the non-photosynthetic coral Gorgonians, they are very beautiful and have different characteristics, a great challenge to take on and looks fantastic in an aquarium.
What do you love about the job?
This job sparks joy for me being able to take care of and see the corals every day, taking care of them and later on thriving in hobbyists aquariums.
