By submitting your images to Australia’s Best Reef Tank (“the Competition”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the use of your images:
1. Ownership & Copyright: You confirm that you are the sole owner of the images submitted, and that the images do not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
2. Grant of Permission: You hereby grant Monsoon Aquatics (“the Organiser”) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and promote the submitted images in connection with the Competition and its promotional activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of images in marketing materials, on social media, in press releases, on the Organiser’s website, and in any other media, now known or later developed.
3. Duration: The Organiser may use the submitted images for the duration of the Competition and for promotional purposes following the Competition, without a time limit, unless you withdraw your consent in writing.
4. No Compensation: You understand that by submitting your images, you do not expect any form of compensation, and you release the Organiser from any claims related to the use of your images.
5. Withdrawal of Permission: You may request the removal of your images from future use by the Organiser by sending a written request to
[email protected], and the Organiser will make reasonable efforts to comply within a reasonable timeframe.
By submitting your images, you agree to these terms and authorize the Organiser to use your images as described above.
If you do not wish to grant the Organiser this permission, please refrain from submitting your images to the Competition.
Permission for Photos/Videos
By entering Australia’s Best Reef Tank (“the Competition”), you agree to grant permission for photos and videos to be taken of your reef tank (and, if applicable, of you with the tank) in the event that you are selected as a finalist. Should you be chosen as a finalist, you further grant permission to Monsoon Aquatics Australia’s Best Reef Tank team (“the Organiser”) to use these photos and videos for promotional, marketing, and competition-related purposes.
This includes, but is not limited to, the use of your images and footage on the Organiser’s website, social media platforms, print materials, press releases, and any other forms of media for the purpose of promoting the Competition, its finalists, and Monsoon Aquatics Australia.
By granting this permission, you understand that the images and videos may be used in a variety of formats and media, and that the Organiser will have the right to edit, modify, or reproduce the content as needed, while acknowledging that no compensation will be provided for such usage.
You further agree that, should you be selected as a finalist, you will cooperate with the Organiser’s team to facilitate the filming or photography of your tank and/or you, as appropriate, at a time and location mutually agreed upon by both parties.
If, for any reason, you do not wish to grant permission for the use of your photos/videos or prefer not to have them taken, you must notify the Organiser in writing, and alternative arrangements will be discussed.
By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms regarding the permission for photos and videos.
